Nestled just a stone's throw from stunning parks and walking trails, this cozy home away from home boasted breathtaking views of the mountains that left me in awe on my morning coffee runs. Despite sharing the space with the friendly owners, I never once felt like an intruder. Their thoughtful approach allowed for ample personal time while ensuring the inviting aroma wafting through the house felt warm and welcoming. Everything was impeccably clean, from the well-appointed triple room to the fully equipped kitchen where we enjoyed cooking meals after long days exploring the stunning nature around us. If you're considering a stay in Tekapo, I can't recommend River Cottage enough-its combination of comfort, cleanliness, and congenial hosts creates a perfect retreat for adventurers seeking both relaxation and inspiration.
